Little Boots Knows How To Use Her Hands…
I’ve been looking forward to this for quite a while. Little Boots’s debut album, Hands, comes out (in the UK) on the 8th. You can preorder it on iTunes and Amazon and pretend you live in the UK (unless you really do live in the UK… silly regional releases). For us who live in the US we’ll have the Illuminations EP with no word on when Hands will come out officially over here.
And yes the album has leaked, and yes I’ve listened to it (about 10+ times). It’s much more poppy than I expected with songs like Remedy bordering on Lady GaGa territory. Other songs like Ghosts and Stuck on Repeat keep it from becoming purely mainstream pop fodder. I’m happy that it still brought some new songs (Earthquake, Remedy, and Mathematics) to the ones I already loved (New In Town, Stuck on Repeat, and Meddle). I would recommend anyone who even mildly likes pop at all to give this great album a listen. Hopefully this album will get Little Boots the popularity she deserves.
Anyways give these two songs a listen. If you like then then I would suggest picking up higher quality versions (these are 160kbs) and the whole album up when it comes out on Monday.
