Where’s Your Manners?
Can this be old if the album isn’t even out yet? Oh well, anyways I just gave Manners by Passion Pit a listen and I’m in awe. It’s a serious contender for my best album of 2009 spot. Passion Pit was on my list of “bands I’ve been meaning to check out and never got around to because I forgot”. And now that I’ve listened to the album a few times and heard the EP I’m mad that I didn’t listen to them before this. The album is filled with strong tracks and it was hard for me to pick my favorites. But the real highlights of the album are Make Light, Little Secret, and Sleepyhead. Anyways give this album a listen when it comes out (legally) on May 19. And buy the album even if you “obtained” the leak. The album is worth your support.
Anyways give these songs from their EP a listen. I’ve Got Your Number is great and I have no idea why they didn’t include it on the album. Then Sleepyhead is my favorite track from them at the moment. Thankfully they had the sense to put it on the album.
